bright pink 3M

I think sticky notes are man's way of keeping up with the mundane things he has to do. I never write down the big events on sticky notes. It's always things like "print 5 copies", "pick up a pizza", "grade today", "for tomorrow"....and because it is on a bright pink sticky note it always gets done.
What would it be like to use sticky notes for the more noteable times in our life such as "deliver the baby in a week", "take the family to Disney World on Friday", "become debt free in 4 years", "play Lincoln Logs with Micah today", "kiss my husband most thoroughly", "love my students today", "don't covet the neighbors", "resist the devil"...etc, etc....If these things were written on bright pink sticky notes, would they get done?

Fresh Ink

I am off today to buy some new pens. I take this excercise quite seriously. So much so, that I am always tempted to rip open those packages and test each pen before buying. I don't; but I am tempted.
Fresh year. Fresh paper. Fresh ink. My writing has been shoved into drawers and notebooks and various crannies of my office. This year it is time for me to organize them all and take the words someplace worthwhile. My pen is ready. At least, it will be when I find the right one.
